About Schertz, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Schertz is a beautiful Texas community in the southern part of the state. Quiet and small as it may be, the community is teeming with charm and the area is known for having some of the most welcoming natives of anywhere on the planet. There is something to do at each point of the year – whether it is hot and sunny in the summer or a bit cooler in the wintertime. The locals will be overjoyed to share their way of life, their history and their neighborhoods with you. This segment of Texas is celebrated for its enormous natural resources, rich background and remarkable cultural influences.

Each March, the town holds The Wilenchik Walk for Life - community fundraising event for the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio's Cancer Therapy and Research Center. The 5K walk and fun run is a blast for all ages. March is a great time of year for it, as well. It is warm but not too hot in the springtime in south Texas.  Absolute Jazz is the town’s yearly one-day jazz celebration and, in May, Homes for Pets holds Doggie Dash at Pickrell Park. Also in May is The Schertz Sweetheart Pageant and then in the heat of the summer is Schertz Fourth of July Jubilee> It is known as one of the biggest parades and festivals in Texas. The event gives locals an opportunity to salute the men and women who serve our country.  There is also the annual SchertzFest in late September and a Trunk or Treat celebration at Pickrell Park on Halloween. The winter holiday season in Schertz is every bit as fun with events including the Senior Arts & Crafts Bazaar and the Festival of Angels.

The San Marcos River and The Blanco River flow through the region and offer plenty of opportunity for outdoor warm weather water fun. In addition, smaller bodies of water include Cottonwood Creek, Purgatory Creek, Sink Creek, and Willow Springs Creek. Lake McQueeney (in the nearby town of McQueeney) was created in 1925 by damming the Guadalupe River to supply hydroelectric power to the region. Fishing, boating, and swimming are all popular activities in the summertime and the lake is stocked with a wide variety of fish.
